What Is Wealth?

What is wealth?

I used to think it was a penthouse on Madison Avenue with a doorman, Rolls Royce, and helicopter pad for kicks.

I still do. But now I’m seeing a different benefit of wealth as I turn my marketing agency away from a clustered mess into a highly-profitable and predictable business model.

Now…

Wealth is having peace of mind that every business move will produce cumulative results.

Wealth is spending a day at the beach, not thinking about your business, knowing it’s growing in the background.

Wealth is having the luxury of turning down problematic clients.

Wealth is still wealth, it’s just become a lot more enticing as I see its other benefits across my business and personal life.

How do you get wealthy in business?

It’s more simple than complicated.

Start building a team. Record every task they do during the day until your business has a legitimate employee manual. Find predictable marketing methods to get new clients at scale. Raise prices and overdeliver on value. And trust the process in good seasons and bad.

Cheers to building a wealthy business that makes your clients, employees, and yourself wealthy.

It’s possible. But only if you make it your intention to run your business this way, and not how the world tells you to run it. If you listen to the world, they’ll say you need to break your business day into a whirlwind of Snapchat marketing, Facebook Lives, free content, and coffee meetings.

That’s a joke.

Save your breath. Build a legitimate business with a real system that gets you new customers predictably, or you’re really in a hobby not a business.

The majority is way more wrong than it’s right. Be the minority in that you actually have a business system to make money while you’re away from it.

That’s where the true wealth is found. So let’s stop the madness and stick to what’s true…

Results and business systems outperform being busy every day of the week.
